My Beach Day Scrapbook Layout

There’s just something magical about babies covered in sand, toes in the air, and a beach breeze blowing through your memories—amiright? This week’s beach scrapbook layout was inspired by our recent family trip to Seaside, Oregon, and it’s bursting with sunshine, laughter, and seaside vibes from start to finish.

From sandy beaches to baby giggles, our Beach Day was scrapbook gold. Here’s how I captured it all!

For Becca’s birthday, our whole crew packed up the kiddos and headed to the beach for a sun-drenched day of family fun. From lunch at Mo’s to a quick visit to the Seaside Aquarium, the day was filled with laughter, sandy toes, and those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it memories that make summer so special. I’m so grateful I got to be part of it all—surrounded by my girls, their sweet families, and Rafe, soaking in the sunshine and the joy.

This week’s Sweet Start sketch makes room for six photos, a bold title, and all the beachy vibes.

This bright and cheerful 2-page layout was created with a heap of cardstock—and just a pinch of patterned paper. I added a bold Cricut-cut sunburst to the left-hand page for extra drama and warmth, then layered in beachy elements like a fence, umbrella, starfish, and a few sandy feet for good measure. Large and small photo spots help balance the design and keep the story flowing, while soft-tone Cricut cuts and clean layers make the whole layout pop with personality.
