Cherish Happy 25th Layout
Have you played with the Cherish Digital Art Collection from Close To My Heart yet?

While my mom turned 76 a couple of weeks ago, my youngest daughter Alyssa turns 25 on February 16th! So I decided to get a jumpstart on making her a layout. But since we’re waiting to see what she wants to do and how she wants to celebrate, I don’t have any photos to display this week. But that’s ok. That’s what jumpstarting is for, right?
The PROCESS:
Since I had fun working with a CTMH Digital Art Collection on my mom’s layout last week, I decided to give it another try. So I chose the Cherish Digital Art Collection and the pre-designed layout that is offered as part of the bundle.
I pulled in some Isabella paper, which all of a sudden I can’t get enough of, to create my background. Then I grabbed several colors of Cardstock to easily complete the look. Simple and gorgeous!
After popping open Cricut Design Space I reduced the size of the pre-designed layout to measure 11.5″ before cutting. In hindsight, I probably should’ve used an adhesive sheet to make the backside of the white flower sprays sticky… But it’s whatever now – lol. It obviously went together just fine with my tape runner.
When it came to the actual assembly of the tiny flower bits, I’m not going to like… that was a little bit tedious! I was able to figure it out pretty fast, though, so I moved on to the placement and spacing which strays for the original design just a smidge.
