Dang near fainted
Who would’ve thought that a ‘DANG NEAR FAINTED’ sign would become such a thaaang?
It all started on November 5th, 2016… the day Rafe and I decided to get married.
The wedding party was dressed to the nines…
The ceremony was well underway…
And one of these four girls decided to lock her knees and put on a show worthy of America’s Funniest Home Video…
Only I’m not going to say which one it was. She’s been embarrassed long enough over it… at least for the moment. LOL
So, fast forward a couple of days to our pre-honeymoon Disney play-days with our besties. <3
We were moseying through Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure when lo and behold we ran across a DANG NEAR FAINTED sign! How could we not take a picture each time we passed it and send it to the unnamed girl pictured above – LOL! Here are just a few of the photos that didn’t make it into the layout but will most likely be added with a Flip Flap or a Photo Pocket page…
Dang near fainted Layout Recipe…
I started with X7221B – Prickly Pear Paper Pack
I used the following Cardstock Colors: Black, White Daisy, Tangerine, Sorbet, Pewter, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Kraft
While I had planned on using more of the Prickly Pear Complements I only used the speech bubble. Same with the Black & White Dots – I only used 4 small ones.
I used a Sponge Dauber with Sorbet Ink to help the mountains stand out a little.
I used the Black Ink pad with B1539 Pen Pal Alphabet Stamp Set for the little bit of journaling I did on the signs.
I also used the Cricut Artistry Cartridge for the Mountains, Lettering, and the Hidden Mickey head.
For those that have read through the above blog post but don’t want to scroll up to see my page again, here it is…
