A Magical Hello and Sweet Goodbye Scrapbook Layout

Starting a new theme park scrapbook album always feels like a celebration, and finishing one always holds a special kind of magic. This layout was designed to work as both the opening and closing spread in our latest adventure album, and it quickly became one of my favorite pairings ever.

Theme-park-inspired scrapbook layout with balloons, fireworks, and family photos.
From the first ‘hello’ to the last stroll down Main Street—our Disney memories are wrapped in pixie dust and paper.

Why I Created This Layout

After so many trips over the years, I realized I had never made a layout that bookended our adventures. I wanted one page to welcome us into the story and another to send us off with the sweetest goodbye. This spread became exactly that. It celebrates all our memories rather than a single visit and captures the feeling of fireworks, lights, and late night traditions preserved among bright colors and playful elements.

About This Two Page Layout

This cheerful two page design includes twelve photo spots in a mix of sizes along with balloon shapes, firework bursts, and bold pops of color that feel perfectly at home in a theme park album. The cardstock is a mix of Stampin Up two tone colors paired with patterned papers from my stash.

The left page of this design was inspired by a layout I spotted on Pinterest. I customized it using Cricut cuts so the style would match the tone of our own album.

MAKE IT YOURSELF: If this layout has you feeling inspired, you can make it too. My Mouse Made layouts include access to my ready to cut Cricut Design Space link that help you bring your own adventure memories to life using the paper you already have.

Why This Layout Works

This is a flexible design that works beautifully for opening pages, closing pages, or any special day you want to highlight. The mix of colors creates great movement. The space for twelve photos makes it ideal for high photo days. The shapes and accents add a playful touch that fits a variety of adventure themed albums.

Final Thoughts

Whether you use this as your first page or your final farewell, this layout is designed to celebrate your happiest memories with color, warmth, and personality. It is an easy and meaningful way to frame the beginning and end of your story — no Fairy Godmother required. 😉

Layout’s done, park’s closed, and I’m still humming that Main Street exit music. 💕
