Elated Scrapbook Page | Capturing Baby’s First Week

Baby scrapbook page featuring newborn photos and Winnie the Pooh paper.

Becoming a Mimi was one of those things I thought I was going to struggle with for a very long time. In my head, it sounded old and gray-haired, and honestly… I fought it more than I probably should’ve. But the second I held my grandson in my arms, every weird feeling instantly disappeared.

These photos from his first week of life still hit me right in the heart. They remind me how quickly something that once scared me became one of the sweetest parts of my life.

Maybe you’ve had a season of life you fought a little too. Funny how the seasons we fear the most sometimes end up becoming the ones we treasure the most.

Want to Recreate This 12 x 12 Scrapbook Page?

OPTION 1:
I kept this page soft and simple with the Winnie the Pooh inspired papers from Stampin’ Up! because the photos already carried all the emotion on their own.

OPTION 2:
Inside this week’s Sketch & Savor lesson, members received the full sketch guide, measurements, and story prompts that went along with this layout.

OPTION 3:
If this layout connected with you and you’re not a member of Sketch & Savor, I’ve made the Full Lesson (sketch, measurements and story guide) available separately.

Because sometimes all it takes is one photo, one memory, and one story to realize how much a season of life really meant to you.
