Everyday Joys Scrapbook Layout

Life’s sweetest stories aren’t always the grand adventures. Sometimes it’s the small, everyday joys that deserve a page of their own. These are the tiny treasures that add up to a legacy worth savoring.

Two-page scrapbook layout titled “Everyday Joy,” featuring photos of grandchildren, coffee, family, a text message, craft supplies, and a cat, accented with orange patterned paper and heart embellishments.
This Everyday Joys layout captures the little things—family smiles, a favorite coffee, sweet texts, creative spaces, and even a furry friend—that make life worth remembering.

The HEART:

It didn’t take me long to pull the five photos together that remind me where joy shows up in my everyday. From grand-little smiles to unexpected text messages from my husband, these are the moments that make life full. They may seem ordinary at the time, but preserving them ensures the joy is remembered long after the day has passed.

The INGREDIENTS:

To bring this page together, I reached for a soft floral print from the Floral Delight DSP as part of the foundation. A mix of coordinating cardstock helped frame the photos, while a bit of linen thread added just the right touch of warmth and texture. Simple choices, but enough to let the everyday moments take center stage.

The Recipe

If you’re ready to turn your everyday photos into lasting stories, my Sketch & Savor Club is where it happens. Each week brings you a story prompt to spark your journaling, inspiration to help you pair photos with paper, and fresh sketch for baking it all together in just 20 minutes a day. It’s a space to slow down, create, and capture the details that matter most.

The GLAZE:

Everyday joys often hide in the smallest details, and scrapbooking is how we hold onto them a little longer. Whether it’s a smile, a note, or a fleeting moment, giving those memories a home on your pages keeps them close to the heart—ready to be savored again and again.

Layout’s done. Mixer’s off. Time to savor the story. 💕
