Celebrate the Season with this Fa-La-La Banner

With Thanksgiving officially behind us, it’s time to crack out some crafty projects to help us both get into the ‘Christmas Spirit’ – Starting with this adorable Fa-La-La Banner!

Fa-La-La Banner

While your spirit may be EXUDEING excitement for the holidays, it may come as a shocker to learn that I’m actually kind’ve Scrooge-ish when it comes to the actual decorating part.  *CRINGE*  …Yeah, I know.  You don’t have to kick me twice – lol!  Juju nappingThere’s just something about pulling out all of the decorations from the attic and having to put them away nearly a month later.  It’s such a ta-do!  Plus, it doesn’t help that Juju ate a 3″ piece of branch off our artificial tree last year and then puked it up a month later – *face palm*  I’d really like to avoid that if I can.

Now, don’t get me wrong… I DO LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!  I love all the little moments the season has to offer, especially being together with my family on Christmas morning.  Then there’s the spirit in the air and the decorations everywhere.  Plus, I love watching Christmas movies like ‘A Christmas Story’ or ‘Christmas Vacation’ or even ‘Die Hard’ …Yep, raise your hand if you agree with me that Die Hard really IS a Christmas movie!  *hehehe*

But I digress…

The main point of this blog post is to help both of us find a little decorating spirit by creating something new and crafty this year.  So, the idea I’m gifting to you is…

As for me?  I’m planning on hanging mine in the entryway so that any time I open the front door I am reminded that this is the year that I will find joy in the decorating process.  *fingers crossed*
