A Mother’s Day Scrapbook Layout full of Goofy Charm

Hey sweet friend!
This week’s Mother’s Day Scrapbook Layout is a lighthearted tribute to all the silly snapshots and phone-stealing shenanigans that come with being a mom. It’s called Faces (Only a Mother Could Love)—and trust me, if you’ve ever found a surprise selfie spree on your camera roll, this one’s for you.

The SPREAD:

Two-page scrapbook layout featuring funny face photos, accented with floral background paper and playful speech bubbles.
Who needs filters when you’ve got teenage mischief and a scrapbook page to match? These faces? 100% scrapbook-worthy.

The HEART:

This Mother’s Day scrapbook layout captures a moment from 2014 when my girls got their hands on my phone and decided to entertain themselves (and, unknowingly, my scrapbook stash) with a stream of goofy, over-the-top selfies. Teenagers, right? They just know when a moment is ripe for mischief—and I’m so glad I kept those photos!

The INGREDIENTS:

To give this playful layout a bit of unexpected contrast, I used the soft, feminine Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! The pretty patterns actually make the photos stand out more—and I love that this layout feels like a mash-up of wild energy and sweet elegance. A few Cricut cut speech bubbles and phrases, and the layout was ready to shine.

The GLAZE:

Some layouts tug at your heartstrings. Others tickle your funny bone. This one? It does a little of both. It’s a reminder to scrapbook all the faces—messy, silly, unexpected—because those are the ones that make our stories real.

Remember to keep scrapbooking the good, the bad, the ridiculous—because real life is the best kind of beautiful.
