Handmade Candy Cane Treat Holders
Thank you to my Stampin’ Buds Instagram Followers for all the attention on my Handmade Candy Cane Treat Holders post. Wouldn’t these make such a great RAK (random act of kindness) this year? Plus, they are super easy to make!
On December 3rd, Close To My Heart held a new catalog kick-off event for it’s consultants in several different cities across the states. I was fortunate to be able to attend the Portland, OR event with several of my friends and local team members. To show my excitement. I decided to make treats for each of my team members Super simple!
Handmade Candy Cane Treat Holders – How to…
Cut a 6.25″ x 3″ piece of Kraft CS. Round all 4 corners with a corner rounder.
Using your Paper Trimmer, cut “slits” at the 2.75″ and 3.5″ marks of the Kraft piece.
Cut a 2.75″ x 2.75″ piece of City Sidewalks B&T for the top of the project. Round the top 2 corners with the corner rounder.
Cut a 2.5″ x 2.75″ piece of City Sidewalks B&T for the bottom of the project. Round the bottom 2 corners with the corner rounder.
Using the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set, Stamp “Happy Holidays” in Cranberry Ink and “Have a Cozy Christmas” in Willow Ink in between the 2 slits, as shown in the picture.
Cut a 2.75″ piece of Red Shimmer Trim in half lengthwise and adhere it as shown in the picture.
Tie Ribbon around the Candy Cane and viola! Simple!
I’ve even provided direct links to the products I used, below…
