Happiest Place Disney Character Sightings!

This week I am celebrating some Disney Character Sightings with another layout from the original Happiest Place Collection.

If you are following along with me in the Cut Above Album Brochure, I am jumping ahead to the layout featuring the ‘Makin’ Memories’ sentiment, which I’m referring to as layout #5. Here’s what it looks like…

CTMH Happiest Place Layout 5

Now, let me show you what mine looks like…

Disneyland Layouts - Character Settings

As you can see, I’ve decided to continue with the Cricut Lettering and the Black Glitter Cardstock to help me define the theme of my pages, and also turn it into a 12″ x 12″ album from an 8.5″ x 11 album. I’ve also decided to continue this look throughout my entire album to give my book a strong chapter-style feeling. I’m excited to show you what other topic themes I’ll be covering in the weeks ahead!

My Disney Album Coordinating Photos…

Slowly but surely I have started to print photos from my phone based off of the themes I’m wanting to represent in my album. It’s going to be a hard process for me, being that we’ve been on MANY Disney trips over the last 10 years, but I’ve got this!

For printing my photos, I’ve been using Persnickety Prints because I LOVE their quality. I will admit, however, that I personally feel that the website design is a little bit cumbersome for my liking. I think with everything, though, it just takes a little time to get use to. I’d be interested to hear what you think about it though!

Lastly, I want to show you what I’m currently doing with the photos I’ve been printing…

Disney Character Sightings - Photo Storage 1
Disney Character Sightings - Photo Storage 2

Instead of storing my photos in the envelopes they come in, I have opted to use the vertical and horizontal photo pages from Close To My Heart. Specifically Design #1 and Design #2. Nothing fancy, just functional!

The reason I’m doing this is so that I can easily slip them into my Disney album and visually see them whenever I need to. …Meaning that if Close To My Heart comes out with paper that totally matches my photos, I can easily browse my photos and pull them to create another layout. Genius, right? Plus, if you are showing off your album to anyone, the album looks basically done in their eyes because you have a ton of photos that speak 1000 words.

Once again, my Album Ingredients…Including Pocket Pages!

As you can see, I’ve added Pocket Page Protectors to our growing list of ingredients. This way you can start getting your photos out of storage, like I am, and getting them into albums where they belong.
