Thanks to Shannon for inviting me to be a part of this design team. I’m so excited to participate and share my creations with everyone.
When I received two packages on my porch, I was so excited to open them right away. The first package included My Crush in the Pink (Z2000) – a beautiful book with gold and pink ‘swooshes’ on the front. The package also included Assortment Journal Spots (Z2042) and Printed Paper Clips (Z2048). The assortment has really cute images and quotes. It also included four sticker sheets and two alphabet sticker sheets. SO CUTE.
I’ve taken pictures of a few of my favorite pages inside the My Crush book.
My personal style is very thoughtful and organized. I like to plan out the layout using a sketch and then pre-plan and size my embellishments, usually cut using my Cricut and the Cricut Design Studio. Only then, do I assemble the scrapbook page.
My Crush is meant to simplify the scrapbooking process. Simply ‘crush’ ticket stubs, pictures, memorabilia, magazine pictures, etc into the book with some washi tape and call it good. This will be a difficult challenge for me to complete. But I’m willing to take this challenge on!
The second box that came on my porch included the Cricut Artbooking Collection (Z1906). I just love my Cricut; I have over 60 cartridges but don’t tell my husband! (Ok – that’s enough confessing…) This collection came with a cartridge just PACKED with useful images. I’m still looking through the book and discovering new images to use! Also included are 3 D-sized clear acrylic stamp sets and 3 dimensional elements, both of which coordinate with the cartridge.
Next week I will start on the My Crush book, as soon as I figure out what ‘theme’ to go with.
