I love my Beautiful Mama!

I love my Beautiful Mama so much that I couldn’t resist creating this fun quilt inspired LO with her in mind…

Yep. My mom’s a quilter and a very talented one, too! She makes the best wall hangings and table runners, but her pillowcases – Wowza! Everyone loves receiving pillowcases from my mom – seriously! lol

To make the cutting process easy on this layout, I designed everything inside Cricut Design Space and then cut them out on my Cricut Maker.

Funny story about my Cricut Maker… my mom wanted one for quilting, so she bought it. Then she decided that she probably wouldn’t use it much so she tried to give it to me. Knowing how much it cost I just couldn’t accept it. So, I sadly helped her return it to the store instead.

A couple of months later, my mom decided she wanted to get it again. Of course the same thing happened… She again decided she probably wouldn’t use much so she wanted to give it to me. Before I could say no, though, she made me take it! Needless to say, I’m in LOVE with my new Cricut Maker! It’s the one with the pretty rose-gold top! Thanks Mama!

Anyways, when I first started designing this layout I had planned on placing Sparkles between all of the diamonds (as shown in the picture). But as it began to take shape, I knew that I needed quilt ties, instead.
