Love Aglow – A Shimmery Glacier Love Story • StampinBuds

You know how some memories just stick with you—like frosting on your favorite spatula? This week’s layout comes from one of those moments. It’s icy, emotional, and absolutely layout-worthy. I call it Love Aglow, and it’s my way of preserving a beautiful moment and some beautiful photos.

The LAYOUT:

This glacier cruise scrapbook layout was inspired by photos of Rafe and I standing in front of the majestic Glacier of Glacier Bay. There was something about the stillness, the grandeur, the glow—it all felt like a symbol of our relationship. Slow to build, tough as ice, and still shining strong.

The STORY:

In my journaling, I made a quiet little comparison. Glaciers don’t shout their power—they form over time, one snowflake at a time. They move mountains, reshape landscapes, and remind us that the strongest things in life take their time. That’s how I see our love. It’s not loud or flashy—it’s steady and strong.

The INGREDIENTS:

Even though the Everyday Happiness paper pack leans playful with its florals and cheerful patterns, it ended up being the perfect companion for my glacier photos. The soft blues and vibrant pops of color helped balance the cool, icy tones of the glacier backdrop while adding just enough warmth to keep the layout feeling lively and full of love. It’s a great reminder that patterned paper doesn’t have to match your theme exactly—sometimes the unexpected combinations, like flowers and frozen landscapes, end up telling the sweetest stories.
