Lunch at Mo’s
A scrapbooking trend that’s popular right now is hand-cut letters! It’s an easy technique that is also inexpensive and fun.
All you need to do is draw out your letters on patterned paper with a pencil, then cut them out! That’s it! I’ve found the easiest way to do this is to draw them backwards if you can. That way you won’t have to erase the pencil marks on each letter. To emphasize each letter and help the patterns stand out on top of patterned paper, I inked the edges and drew stitching around each one with a black pen. It’s that simple!
Another fun aspect of this layout is the “patterned paper” I created with the netting stamp in the Seaside Workshop Stamp. I repeatedly stamped it using a few different shades of blue and green. It’s fun to make your own custom papers!
