My Baby Gots GOALS
My Baby gots GOALS… and I couldn’t be more proud of this beautiful girl. <3
Alyssa is the youngest of my 3 girls. Born 5lbs 14oz. by c-section, she is now 17 and blossoming into an AMAZING young woman. She’s extremely funny, very witty, insanely artistic, an “old soul”, passionate, independent, strong-willed, an animal lover, polite, and very kind-hearted toward everyone she meets. She’s been known to buy lunch for the homeless, VooDoo Donuts for people she passes on the sidewalk, and she is always the girl that will befriend you when life has left you feeling low. Like I said, she is AMAZING! …Especially now that her confidence is really starting to grow.
Like I said already, My Baby Gots GOALS! Lemme tell you what she just accomplished…
Alyssa found CrossFit a couple of years ago and has made great strides to improve the quality of her adolescence, both mentally and physically. Recently, she was asked to be one of the “models” at her gym during a Level 1 Certification Class. The Certification Class is an introduction course to CrossFit’s methodology and foundational movements. It provides attendees with a foundational education to begin training others using CrossFit. …I’m pretty sure she rocked the model gig. 😉
Well, a week later her gym owner invited her to take the Level 1 Certification Class and she PASSED! My baby is Level 1 Certified at the age of 17! *Woohoo!* I’m over the moon excited for her, especially since she told me that the actual testing was a lot harder than she thought it would be. …I wonder what she would say if I asked her to be my personal trainer…hmmm. …I’m actually scared she would work me too hard for all the times I made her clean her room. LOL Anyway…
Alyssa, I am so extremely proud of YOU! Beautiful both inside and out and conquering life in BEAST-MODE baby! 😛 Keep doing what you’re doing because you have found a successful, encouraging path in this life that can be so crazy. You’re an inspiration to young woman everywhere and your amazing story is just beginning to unfold. I love you with all my heart and to the moon and back. I’m so proud that God chose me to be your momma. <3 xoxoxo

Woot, woot!!
Indeed!
OMG! That is AWESOME! I’m afraid I couldn’t do cross fit because of knees…I do good to run and what little leg workouts my trainer has me do!
I use to do crossfit. I’m just not sure I want to work out that hard anymore. lol
