Welcome to Week #39 of my 52 Paper Crafting Organization Tips and StampinBuds Studio tour. Did you miss last week’s topic? I talked about the Project Inventory Lists! Be sure to check it out.
This week I want to show you what I’m doing with a random drawer unit in my Studio…
Week 39: Drawer Organization
We all have them. At least I assume we do… Some sort of drawer unit where we like to store stuff out of sight and sometimes out of mind. This is how I store my crafting Vinyl. Not because it’s hideous to look at or anything. I just don’t use it often enough to warrant it within reach.
So my mom had this drawer unit in her sewing room for years. When she moved in with Rafe and I in 2020 she decided that she didn’t need it anymore so she donated it to my craft room.
Recently I decided to make some simple tags for each drawer. This way I can keep it organized even better and know which type of vinyl I’m working looking for without hesitation.
I used Close To My Heart’s Tags & Tabs Thin Cuts along with some White Daisy and Lagoon Cardstock scraps. I then used a sharpie to quickly write what was in each drawer (5 total) and attached each Tag with a jump-ring. Each peasy, lemon squeezy! Simple and actually pretty cute. Of course, it COULD be cuter if I went to my local fabric store from some cute ribbon… Yep, I’m gonna add that to my errand list for the week – lol
Look around your crafting area and see what you could easily label for a more organized feel. You might be surprised at what you could do to dress up your happy space even happier. 😉
