Love Grows On: A Cupcake Reveal Scrapbook Layout

The sweetest stories often come wrapped in sprinkles—and this week’s scrapbook page proves it. In 2023 my family gathered for what I thought would be a simple dinner, but the night quickly turned into a memory I’ll cherish forever. Inspired by cupcakes, joy, and a brand-new season of life, this layout is a heartfelt reminder that stories worth savoring often arrive when you least expect them.

The HEART:

Dinner was simmering on the stove when Becca and Koby arrived with cupcakes in hand. I brushed them off at first—dessert could wait. But when my mom peeked inside the box, her reaction told me something was different. “Really?” she exclaimed. I rushed over, only to discover the sweetest surprise: Becca was pregnant. After all my joking about not being ready to be a Mimi, my heart swelled with joy. Rafe’s daughter Courtney had already given us Oliver, and his presence showed me that being a grandparent is one of life’s greatest gifts. That night, cupcakes carried the news that love was about to grow even more.

The INGREDIENTS:

This layout blooms with warmth using Stampin’ Up!’s Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper paired with neutral cardstock layers for balance. I sponged the title letters with Early Espresso ink for a soft, vintage texture and added playful pops of Streaked Dots to echo the bubbly excitement of the night. The clean lines keep the photos center stage while subtle details—like inked edges and layered tones—pull the eye across the page.
