Rocking Cards are all the rage right now so I wanted to give them a try this week…
I have been chomping at the bit to use this GORGEOUS Love Notes Paper and Stamp Set + Thin Cuts from Close To My Heart. So as soon as I got some other projects out of the way I went right to work creating these sweet sentiments that rock!
I’ve been wanting to incorporate some fun cards into my design time that didn’t use the standard card base that I always use. So when I came across cards with movement…? I was all in! The hardest part, for me, was cutting my patterned paper into BIG circles. Since I’m use to mostly working with squares and rectangles I just had to take a leap and do it.
The base circle measures 6″ and then 5.5″. The rest were just based on whatever size I wanted to use. Then it was just a matter of embellishing the cards to their full cuteness.
I’m running a smidge behind this week on my instructions so check back this weekend for my Rocking Card directions – Coming soon! In the meantime, I’ve made a quick video of these fun cards in action!
I’m in love with these Rocking Cards and I hope you are too! They are very fun to make and the sky is the limit on what you can use as the theme for decorating. My only suggestion, make sure to decorate the back for even more fun! Happy Creating! <3
As a reminder, the Love Notes Collection is only available thru February 29, 2024 – while supplies last.
