A Spring Chill Layout

Spring Chill Cardstock LO

Who’s over the Spring Chill and needs a little bit more sunshine in their life? I know I do, which is why I decided to design this adorable layout that uses non-traditional spring colors. I think it turned out pretty great if I do say so myself!

My first inspiration was to use the Rainbow in Close To My Heart’s Sawyer Digital Art Collection.

As I started laying the pieces of the rainbow down, I started to wonder if using a Stamp Set to create ‘texture’ would be more fun than using patterned paper…? Hmmm! So, I set my goal. A layout that only uses Cardstock – let’s do this!

I started pulling in more coordinating Cardstocks: Shortbread, Sage, and New England Ivy, just to name a few. Then I kept building and playing and finally came up with a Spring theme unlike no other I have created before. Man I had fun and I know you will too!
