This week we’re making a cute Sweater Weather Mug!
This week I decided to crack out my Cricut Mug Press and create this cute Sweater Weather Mug. I used some Infusible Ink that I already had in my stash, which made the process super simple to get started. The hardest part was probably deciding on a font for the mug, but that ended up being pretty simple as well.
One of my main goals when I decided to put a mug together for this week’s project was that I wanted to use an image from Close To My Heart’s Pumpkin Spice Digital Collection. As you can see, I chose the Sweater.
- Cricut Design Space
- CTMH Digital Art Collection – Pumpkin Spice
- A Cricut Access Font
- 15oz Mug
- Infusible Ink
- Weeding Tool
- Heat resistant tape
- Mug Press
Instead of sharing step-by-step instructions this week, I want to share the video I made instead. The video will give you an idea of the mug making process, and may even inspire you to invest in the Mug Press.
Just remember that when making a Mug like this to always use extreme caution because the mug will be very hot when it comes out of the press. Safety is always important.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. I ended up giving the Mug to my daughter, Alyssa, because she keeps telling me how freakin’ excited she is that ‘Sweater Weather’ has finally arrived.
If you have any questions about this project, please be sure to ask. I’m always here to help. Happy creating my friend!
