Take Note – by Jennifer

These little note cards are so adorable, don’t you think? I may make a few hundred of these for journaling on scrapbook pages and they’ll be great on cards too!

These little notes were cut from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge at 4” on White Daisy cardstock (1385). Remember to cut these on Real Dial Size (RDS) or the corresponding lines stamp from the Take Note Cricut Bundle (Z1906/D1574) won’t quite fit.

Six note cards at 4” RDS will fit on a 12×12 page. My little helper just had to be a part of the action.

After cutting out the shapes, I stamped the lines with the corresponding stamp using Timber Brown StazOn ink (Z1142).

I cut a pocket to hold the blank note cards and the My Crush in the Pink Assortment (Z2042) to have on hand. The envelope is cut on Bamboo (1301) at 10 ½” on RDS. There is my little helper again showing that I glued the envelope onto the inside of the front cover. The envelope was so full of goodies that I had to add some Smoothie Striped Washi Tape (Z1923) in addition to the glue.

Now that I’ve set this much up, its time to start entering specific plants that I’m learning about and take this book ‘on the road’. I plan to start with Dandelions, Water Leaf, English Daisies, and Doc. Most of these details can be written down from memory, but I still need to do more research.

Happy Crafting until next week!
