Top 5 Halloween Candy | Scrapbook Layout

It’s not Halloween without a little sugar rush, right? This week’s Sweet Tooth Stories theme had me reaching for my candy stash and a few fun memories to match. I thought it would be fun to document my Top 5 Halloween Candies—the ones I look forward to every October when the trick-or-treat bowls start filling up again.

The HEART:

I chose to photograph my five favorite candies—Reese’s, Milky Way, Twix, Snickers, and 3 Musketeers—and turn them into a playful snapshot of my seasonal favorites. It’s funny how something so simple can spark conversation. My kids and grandkids could probably guess a few of my favorites, but I’ve realized there are little details about my life they might not know—like my dad’s favorite color, which I never thought to ask. Layouts like this become a way of sharing those tiny personal details that connect generations.

The SPREAD:

I leaned into the candy theme with bright oranges, candy corn patterns, and pops of chocolate brown to mirror the sweetness of the story. The bold title “Top 5 Halloween Candy” anchors the design, while photo mats and playful embellishments give the page energy. I especially love how the vertical strips and candy accents draw your eye across both pages, creating a fun, balanced look that’s full of Halloween charm.
