My 2025 Word of the Year: RISE
New year, fresh goals, and yes—I’m still out here serving up sass like it’s my signature recipe. This year, my Word of the Year is RISE, because why settle for flat and ordinary when you can puff up your life, sprinkle it with creativity, and craft something extraordinary?
Let’s be clear, though—I’m not talking about doubling in size (stretchy pants are staying in the drawer, thank you). No, RISE is all about elevating my goals, building my business, and adding layers of joy, much like a perfectly designed scrapbook page.
Why I Chose RISE…
Every crafter (and Baker) knows that the magic happens when you trust the process. Whether it’s letting dough proof or adding the final embellishment to a layout, it takes patience, vision, and a little sparkle. Here’s how RISE inspires my year:
1. Grow with Purpose
Like a well-crafted scrapbook page, RISE reminds me to start with a solid foundation and layer on the details intentionally. Whether it’s growing my community, perfecting my systems, or launching fresh creative content, I’m here for steady, meaningful growth.
2. Lift Others Along the Way
A rising tide—and a rising business—lifts everyone involved. This year, I’m sprinkling encouragement like glitter on a craft table (because who doesn’t need a little extra sparkle?) and inspiring others to tell their stories and preserve their memories beautifully.
3. Embrace Resilience
When life punches me down (it’s inevitable, right?), I’ll rise higher, stronger, and more creative than before. Just like turning scraps into treasures, I know that setbacks are just stepping stones for the next masterpiece.
Why You Need a Word of the Year
Choosing a Word of the Year is like finding the perfect journaling pen—it keeps you focused, adds clarity, and helps you tell your story in the best possible way. For me, RISE is about lifting my business, inspiring my audience, and creating a year filled with growth and connection.
So here’s to 2025—a year to RISE to every challenge, opportunity, and creative adventure. I’m ready to bake a life (and a business) full of flavor, strength, and beautiful stories that last a lifetime.
NOW TELL ME: What’s YOUR Word of the Year? Share it with me—I’d love to cheer you on as we all rise together!
